EGF (Epidermal
Growth Factor) is a naturally occurring molecule in
our bodies that dramatically increases skin cell regeneration
and whose important discovery warranted a 1986 Nobel
Prize. As we age, our skin becomes sluggish and cell
turnover decreases over 50%. EGF stimulates old skin
cells to revert to a youthful, renewal pattern significantly
improving overall skin quality. EGF is truly an organic
protein. One reason for the overwhelming success is
that, unlike other anti-aging ingredients, EGF causes
no irritation and is immediately recognized when applied
because it already exists in our bodies. |
Application
- Stimulating the growth and proliferation of skin,
cornea and racheal epithelium tissue in vivo.
- Accelerating the healing process of epidermis damage
on skin, cornea, etc.
- Repressing the gastric acid excretion.
- Accelerating the proliferation of epithelial cells
in human and animals.
- Facilitating the biosynthesis of protein, rna, dna
as well as metabolic activity in epidermal cells. |
EGF (Recombinant
human epidermal growth factor) also has great application
value and market future in skin protection, health maintenance,
and cosmetics. The details of its cosmetic function
are shown below:
Protecting and rejuvenating skin. EGF can help epidermal
cells absorb nutrition, accelerate cell metabolism,
division and proliferation, and promote the biosynthesis
of hyaluronic acid and glycoprotein. Accelerating cell
regeneration and tissue plerosis. EGF has the function
of accelerating the healing process of skin and mucous
membrane wound, reducing scar contracture and skin dysmorphosis.
EGF has a very good curing effect on scars, especially
those left by acnes.
Sunscreen effect. EGF can accelerate the proliferation
of cells, to replace those wounded by ultraviolet ray
and as to reduce the number of melanocytes in skin.
EGF is very safe and economical in cosmetic application.
Clinical tests show that although EGF can efficiently
induce the proliferation of polygonal cells in skin,
after a certain time, this proliferation process will
achieve a physiological equilibration, effectively avoiding
cell dysmorphosis caused by indefinite cell division.
Although EGf might be expensive, its small effective
dosage (10-9g) still ensures its excellent performance-price
ratio. |
